Grandmaster Richard Alemany

Grandmaster Richard Alemany     Grandmaster Richard (Rick) Alemany began his training and teaching in the martial arts in the 1960's. He quickly became a skilled fighter and established himself as a champion in the tournament circuits of the 60's, 70's and 80's.
Grandmaster Alemany's main style is Kenpo Karate. While living in Hawaii, he was a student of Grandmaster's Abe (brother Abe) Kamahoahoa of the Hawaiian Self-Defense and Sid Asuncion of Ken Ka Bo. Grandmaster Alemany has been actively teaching for over 35 years. Grandmaster Alemany has developed a vast number of skilled instructors and is a frequent instructor at international masters' events. His focus on effective competition, self-defense tactics and reality based training make him a highly sought after instructor.
Grandmaster Alemany expertise also includes Shaolin Kempo under Grandmaster Ralph Castro, Ju Jitsu under Grandmaster Duke Moore, modern Arnis under Grandmaster Ernesto Presas, Wing Chun under Chris Chan, Tai Chi under Tony Ho, and Shorin-Ryu with Richard Kim.
Grandmaster Alemany is the recipient of many awards. He is also the Co-founder of ATAMA (American Teachers Association of Martial Arts). Alemany's philosophy is that martial arts can benefit anyone, spiritually as well as physically, without regard to age, gender, race or capability.
