Grandmaster Russ Coelho

Grandmaster Russ Coelho was born in Oahu, Hawaii. Professor Coelho started his martial arts training in Danzan Ryu Jujitsu in 1957 in Hawaii. Professor Coelho holds rank in Danzan Ryu, Aikido and Judo. He is one of the founding members of the Pacific Coast Kilohana Association.

Grandmaster Russ Coelho has trained in many forms of the martial arts and with many instructors, but nothing will ever compare to the Teachings, Trainings, Disciplines, and Love he gained under Grandmaster Sig Kufferath. In 1999, Professor Russ Coelho was elected as President of the Pacific Coast Kilohana Association. He is a very well respected man both in the public and martial art community.

Grandmaster Russ Coelho became one of the Senior Advisors for the Hawaii Kenpo Jujitsu Society in 1998 and appointed to the office of President in 2004. Grandmaster Russ Coelho currently serves on the Executive Board of the Hawaii Martial Arts International Society.
