Grandmaster Miguel Ibarra
Shihan Miguel Ibarra holds the following ranks and recognition: B.A. in Psychology and M.S. Ed in Counseling, Kaiden Shihan - 10th dan by the Budokai International (France), Soke by the World Head of Family/Sokeship Council, 8th Dan by the Yudansha JuJutsu Federation (Canada) and the International Federation of Jujutsuans, Kaiden Shihan by the United States Martial Arts Assoc., Professor by the American Teachers of Martial Arts, Certificates of Honor from the World Takeda Ryu Marotokan Federation and Daito Ryu Aikijujutsi Fujiyama Dojo.
He has also be Featured in Who's who in American Martial Arts 3rd ed.; Who's Who in Martial Arts Elite 1988; Who's Who of ATAMA 1995. Inducted in the Latin American Martial Arts Hall of Fame 1995; World Head of Family/Sokeship Council Hall of Fame 1995; Action Martial Arts Magazine Hall of Fame 2001, and he is on the Board of Directors of the International Combat Hapkido Fed. and the International Karate and Kobudo Fed.
He has been featured in the following video tape series; "Mastering Aikijujutsu" by Pather prods,; "Five Aiki Masters" and Aiki for the Street" by Bushido Kai; "Daito Ryu Aikijujutsu Yamabushi Kai" by Soma Prods.
He has studied and or trained under Prof. Anotnio Pereira, Katsumi Yonezawa. Kodo, R. Okabayashi, T. Kawabe, Hisashi Nakamura, Roland Maroteaux and more. He is also Assisiatnt Commissioner to New York City Probation department, NYS Certified Firearms Instructor, Certified ASP and Monodnock expandable baton instructor, certified NYS Peace officer Instructor, Consultant to U.S. Dept. of Justice NIC on Staff Safety and Co-Author NYC Dept. of Probation's Field and Office Safety Manual.
