Instructor Michael Armstrong
I started martial arts training in 1982. I studied Okinawan Goju Ryu for just over a year. Being an athlete I strayed from martial arts to pursue my athletic endeavors. In the mid 1990’s, I was drawn back into the martial arts. I studied Hung Gar and Wing Chun Kung Fu for three years. I also studied Daito Ryu Aiki Ju-Jitsu, Jeet Kune Do concepts, Ju-Jitsu, and Aikido for short periods of time. In 1997, I began to study American Kenpo Bu-Jutsu under Sensei Bill Martin and Professor Ron Bradbury. I continue to study American Kenpo Bu-Jutsu and currently hold the rank of Shodan.
