Master Helen Beattie
Shihan Helen Beattie lives in the scenic Highlands of Scotland at Balintore. Shihan is Senior Coach of the Scottish Kempo Academy and commenced study of the Martial Arts in 1988. Shihan Beattie holds the rank of 5th Degree Black Belt Master instructor in Yoshin Kempo, she is also a 5th Degree Black Belt Master instructor in JuJitsu.
Shihan has received awards from numerous international instructors including her current Kempo and JuJitsu ranks from Professor James Muro, 10th Dan Kenpo / 9th Dan JuJitsu. Other Grandmasters who have awarded Shihan Black Belt status are: Soke Andrew McGill, 10th Dan Kenpo and Hanshi Peter Browne, 8th Dan Kempo JuJitsu.
Shihan is widely respected as a leading and competent female international Martial Arts instructor who has taught and trained at events in the UK, USA, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Holland. With achieving a high level of excellence, Shihan Beattie is a role-model and inspiration for many female Martial Artists!
