Master Mark Glipa

     Master Mark Glipa was born on the Island of Oahu, State of Hawaii. Master Glipa was an outstanding power weight lifter during the 1970's.
     Master Mark Glipa started training in the martial arts in 1968. He had the opportunity to study under Sifu Pao and Sifu Po in Gung Fu. In 1978, he was promoted to Sifu. In 1971, he also studied under sensei Tanaka in Aikido and earned his instructor certificate in 1979.
     In the 1980's, Master Mark Glipa also studied in other martial arts such as Kenpo, Karate and Jujitsu under a few teachers. In 1990's, Master Mark Glipa open his first school, Glipa School of Self Defense.
