Master Alexander Hartmann
In 1984 Alexander Hartmann started his career in budosports with Judo. Only one year later he changed to traditional Taekwon-Do.
In 1993 Alexander met Grand Master Jürgen Paterok, 8th DAN Traditional Taekwon-Do, 7th DAN Karate-Do, and his education got more intensive also with regard to the philosophical part.
Since 1990 Alexander Hartmann has been working as a trainer for different german clubs.
1995 to 1998 Alexander was the official in charge of youth matters of the Internationale Taekwon-Do and Budosport Föderation – Deutschland e.V. and since 1997 he is president of the federation.
Alexander has got the opportunity to stay at the home of Grand Master Jürgen Paterok, where he lives and studies the Martial Arts.
In the year 2000 Alexander Hartmann got his first diploma as a high school teacher for physical education and biology.
Alexander Hartmann is owner of different licences:
- Trainer licence for Olympic Taekwondo and 1st DAN (German Taekwondo Union e.V.)
- Trainer licence for Korean Karate and 3rd DAN (German Karate Federation e.V.)
- Trainer licence for Traditional Taekwon-Do and 3rd DAN (Internationale Taekwon-Do und Budosport Föderation – Deutschland e.V.)

- 1998 3rd place light contact at the European Championships (GTF)
- 1998 1st place full contact kickboxing at the International German Classics (I.P.K.L)
- 1998 2nd place full contact kickboxing at the German Championships (WAKO)
- 1998 3rd place light contact at the International German Classics (DTB)
- 1999 3rd place free-sparring at the All American Open Championships in New York
- 1999 3rd place breaking contest at the All American Open Championships in New York
- 1999 2nd place light contact kickboxing at the German Championships (WAKO)
- 1999 1st place full contact kickboxing at the German Championships (WAKO)
- 2000 1st place breaking contest at the All American Open Championships in New York
- 2000 2nd place free-sparring at the All American Open Championships in New York
