Master Haydee Ocasio Rodriguez

Photo not Available- Started practicing the Martial Arts (Karate) in 1985 with Hanshi Bill Solano. Received the following promotions and Recognitions:
- Shodan = April, 1991.
- Nidan = August 1993.
- Inducted as "Woman of the Year" into the Latin-American Martial Arts Hall of Fame.
- In 1993 she was elected "Secretary" of the "National Union of Martial Arts (NUMA),Inc." of Puerto Rico.
- In 1994 she was elected as "Secretary" of the Okinawan Shorin Ryu Kokusai Kempo-Karate-Do & Kobudo Federation, Inc.
- Sandan = August 1995
- In 1996 she founded and organized the "Miss Puerto Rico Kenpo-Karate Martial Arts Beauty Pageant. The first time such an event has ever been held in Puerto Rico.
- Yondan = March 1997
- In 1998 she was Inducted into the Latin-American Martial Arts Hall of Fame as "Renshi of the Year Award".
- Godan = November 1999
     On November 1999 she was also Inducted into the "Puerto Rico International Black Belt Karate Hall of Fame" as "Woman of the Decade".
Renshi H. Ocasio works as a "Safety Officer" and is the supervisor of the Security Program for a Hospital in Puerto Rico.
     As a Tournament Competitor she has been competing since 1985 during which she has won many awards in Kata, Kobudo and Kumite. She is consider as the most outstanding Senior female martial artist in P.R.
- On October, 2000 she competed in the "Disney Martial Arts Festival" winning first place in Kata and first place in Kobudo.
- She is consider to be the only Senior Female martial artist that has kept active in the Puerto Rican tournament circuit.
- She has been Nominated as "Woman of the Year" by the United States Marrtial Artist Association Hall of Fame and will be Inducted on July 27th, 2002 in Frederick Maryland, USA.
     Besides her job she also gives clases at the Kokusaikan Hombu Dojo.
