Master Shahyad Sabet

Master Shahyad Sabet     I am Shahyad Someh Saraei Sabet and began my athletic activities in 1980 with Boxing. After two years, I switched to Wrestling for a period of one & a half years in this field and received recognition for area and National championships, several times. I began my activities in Judo based on the recommendation of a friend who was The National champion himself as well as a member of the National team; I continued in this field for two years .In 1985, I met Cancho Yousef Shirzad, the founder of Kyokoshin Kay style in Iran and began my training in this style in “Shirzad Karate Institute” which was founded by Mr. Yousef Shirzad as well. Upon Sosai Oyama‘s death (Mr. Shirzad’s Master) After 20 years of research & studies, he founded the “Shinzen Karate style”; I continued my training under Cancho Shirzad and I was his apprentice still. I was recognized as champion several times and excelled in the field and begun training as instructor and Referee and received first place recognition. I became the instructor of the year in 2002. I graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in General Biology from Azad University of Tehran. I accepted a position as the Head of the I.S.K.O. Research & Development Committee in June 2000. After 12 years of training and teaching in YOGA and Zen, I believe that Martial Arts should be spiritual as well as physical. If these activities are too physical, they promote aggressiveness, which in turn is in contradiction with the original concept. Symmetry is essential in any type of training so that the trainee does not lose his/her own spiritual and physical balance.
I have published several articles and newsletters in Iranian newspapers and periodicals, with respect to the philosophical aspects of Martial Arts and their role in Boodokai’s athletic and personal growth. Currently, with my students, I encourage and practice meditation in conjunction with Martial Arts at the end of every session.
I hope to be honored by attending your seminars and meeting grandmasters in various Martial Arts and express my views and experiences in the form of founder and chairman of International Seikimushin Way Organization (the shahyad Institute style).I founded this new style in November 1999 that named “International Seki- mushin Way Organization” ( I.S.W.O.) which is refered to abstraction nucleous of consciousness in martial arts . We have two kinds of trainings:
“ Martial trainings “ & “ Spritual trainings “ . In martial trainings ,all of fighting systems are trained including : Semi contact , Full contact , Free fighting and Self defence. In spiritual trainings there are seikimushin knowledge which is based on: Zen , Budhism, Yoga and Taoism visions with new and applied consciousness in martial arts and life trainings which refers to seikimushin vision.
At the end, I would like to express my gratitude to your honorable organization and make kind friendship and loyal relation forever.
