Grandmaster Denis R. Decker
Grandmaster Denis R. Decker was born in Somerville, New Jersey on November 15, 1942. He became known to a handful of top practitioners as a martial arts genius. After decades of serious study he developed the White Unicorn Systems; Chi Lin Kempo, Chi Lin Chuan Fa, and Chi Ling Pai Gung Fu.
Grandmaster Decker began his martial arts training in Judo under his father’s tutelage, ultimately attaining yudansha ranking. It was during this period that he also began training in Tracy Kenpo. During his life time of study he had trained under some of the greatest masters of his time including Grandmaster's Daniel K. Pai, Angel Cabales, Gerard Durant, and John Hamilton. GM Decker achieved instructor ranks in Pai Lum Kung Fu and the Cabales Serrada Escrima system.
His genius was being able to understand and dissect motion. This extremely advanced skill turned him into one of the most highly sought after teachers in the Martial Arts genre. People from variant styles and ranks would seek his counsel and became the font of knowledge and wisdom. Unfortunately many today do not know that their teachers and systems were highly influenced by this great man. He taught such notables as Hanshi Bruce Juchnik, Master Robert Schoolnick, Master David L. Smith, Master Mike Kaylor.
On December 20, 1997 GM Decker passed away but his memory lives on by those who were continued ardent supporters and students.
