Grandmaster Joe Halbuna
Grandmaster Joe Halbuna was born in the State of Hawaii. Grandmaster Halbuna has 50 years experience in the martial arts.
Grandmaster Joe Halbuna started his martial arts training under Grandmasters Joe Emperado, Ben Madiro and Adriano Emperado under the Kajukenbo system.
Grandmaster Halbuna has under him 40 first generations black belts, 53 second, and 34 third, and 29 fourth generation black belt. Grandmaster Halbuna have been inducted in numerous Hall of Fames and is recognized worldwide in the martial arts community.
Grandmaster Joe Halbuna is a member of the Kajukenbo Self Defense Institute and the International Kajukenbo Association. He was one of the five founders of the Kajukenbo Association of America, along with Alejo Reyes, Tony Ramos, Charles Gaylord, and Al Dacoscos. In 1965, Grandmaster Halbuna formed the Kajukenbo Pacific Coast Association and in 1995 founded the Unified World Martial Arts Federation which has members in over 12 countries.
