Professor Al Dacascos

Professor Al Dacascos     Professor Al Dacascos was born in the State of Hawaii. He began taining in the martial arts of Judo and Jujitsu at the age of 11. He than began training Under Grandmaster Sid Asuncion, founder of Ken Ka Bo. Professor Dacascos later continued his studies under Grandmaster Adriano Emperado. He later moved to San Francisco, CA in 1965.
     He later began training with various of Chinese martial artists in San Francisco. By 1969, he created his own style, Wun Hop Kuen Do, which means "The Way of the Combines Fist."
     From the mid 60's to the mid 70's, Professor Dacascos was a major force in the tournament circuit in formes, weapons, and fighting.
     Professor Al Dacascos have trained many champions like Karen Shepard, Eroc Lee, Bill Owens, Christian Wulf, Karyn Turner and his own son Mark Dacascos. He has also been on thecover of over 35 international and national martial arts magazines. He has also been inducted into various of well known Hall of Fame's and been involved in the movie industry. He is one of the original founders of the Kajukenbo Association of America.
     Professor Al Dacascos has trained citizens and law enforcement agencies and has over 40years in the martial arts.
