Professor Judith Durkin
Assoc. Professor Judith Durkin started her martial arts training in 1989 under Fred Villari Studio W. Bridgewater, Sensei Myles Durkin.
She was a tournament competitor from 1990 to 1995. In 1993, she recieved her Shodan from Sensei Myles Durkin, American Martial Arts Assoc. In 1993, she was appointed to Assistant Director of the American Martial Arts Association. In 1994, She was certified by T.K.O. Assoc., as a "Head Judge" for tournament competition. In 1995, she recieved the rank of NiDan and the title of Instructor from the American Martial Arts Assoc., Master Myles Durkin.
In 1997, she recieved the rank of SanDan and the title Sensei from Quanfa Assoc. and was appointed to the Sensei Board of NEKICK Org. In 1999, She was appointed as Assistant Director for Testing of NiDans in the NEKICK Org., and received her YonDan Rank and title of Assoc. Professor from prof. Myles Durkin & NEKICK Org. She was also NEKICK Tournament Director (5/99) and Assistant Director (10/99) and was also Appointed Assistant Director of Quanfa Assoc. by Prof. Myles Durkin.
In 2000, she was Appointed Assistant Director of NEKICK Tournament Committee. In 2002, Received the rank of Sr. Coach by Universal Grappling Arts Institute, Prof. Myles Durkin. She was also Appointed to the North American Hall of Fame Council as a board member by Adm. Pres. Al Cunningham. She also received the rank of ShoDan in Kodokan Judo by the USMA & NEKICK Org. and in the American Jujitsu by USMA & NEKICK Org. She was also Nominated as "Instructor of the Year" by Grandmaster Al Cunningham for the Hawaii Martial Arts International Society Hall of Fame Banquet on July 12, 2003 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
