Professor Todd Monis
Professor Todd Monis is the Founder and Cheif Instructor of the Renigar method of Shaolin Kenpo / Jujitsu. He has over 30 years experience in the Martial Arts. Having started his training at the age of 8 years old, he has a 1st Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Hakkoryu Jujitsu, a 5th Degree Black Belt in Karazenpo-Go-Shinjutsu, and a 7th Degree Black Belt in Shaolin Kempo / Jujitsu. He is the Headquarters President of the South Carolina Chapter of the Karazenpo-Go-Shinjutsu Black Belt Society, Creator and 1st Generation Founder of Renigar Kenpo / Jujitsu, Founder of the Kenpo Club of Columbia, Founder of the Renigar Kenpo / Jujitsu Black Belt Society, a Senior Advisor of the North American Master's Council, a Senior Rank Examiner, and is the President of the South East Karate Instructors of Chinese Kempo / Kenpo. Professor Monis was inducted into the Universal Hall of Fame as a Master of the year in 2003. Nominated for the United States Martial Artist Association Hall of Fame as a Master of the year in Karazenpo-Go-Shinjutsu / Shaolin Kempo for the year of 2004. Professor Monis has been a Black Belt Judge for Grandmaster Joe Corely in the Battle of Atlanta and for the South Carolina Great Southeast Championships.
The Renigar Kenpo/Jujitsu method of Shaolin Kempo is a style that combines the elements of Karazenpo-Go-Shinjutsu, Filipino Martial Arts, Hakkoryu Jujitsu, Shaolin Kempo and the Combat Cane to form a pragmatic combination of self-defense techniques for a more modern way of reality based self-protection.
