Professor Avi Nehar-Deha

Photo Not Available     Chief Instructor Major Avi Nehar-Deha began studying Martial Arts at the age of 5 with his father, a member of one of the first elite units of the Israeli Defense Forces (I.D.F.). Major Nehar-Deha's 35 years experience in Martial Arts include 7 years in Japan studying traditional forms (holding 5th Dan in all) such as Kendo, Iaido, Jodo, Judo, Kyudo, Aikido, Naginata, and Karate, as well as Jujitsu and boxing (Thai-Box and Western) and Chinese style as Chi-na _ Pakua - Shingi. Major Nehar-Deha's military career began at age 14 in a military academy, continued with his induction in to the IDF at age 18 and commenced active duty in Lebanon. He has successfully completed elite unit officers training and career milestones include; Member of the Native Unit of the Mossad, KAPAP combat instructor, Member of the YAMAM (The most prestigious special force counter terror in Israel), KAPAP combat and Hagana Hatzmit (Self Defense) and operational instructor for the Israeli Police Operational Fitness Academy. Currently a reserve officer in the military and reserve sniper in the police, Major Nehar-Deha now specializes in VIP protection services.
